EL (Erotic Literature)

Every text determines the way it should be read or browsed. Whoever interprets the contents (the reader) can decide how to break the previously established order. This piece is a mimesis of the process in which the text is ultimately defined by the reader, and not by the author. The project was accomplished by altering the collection of erotic books of the owner of a second-hand bookstore. The result was a photographic image and a book, which was created from the random selection and reordering of images and fragments of text that simulate how the reader defines and interprets, entirely replacing the role of the author.
